What’s your magic formula for getting in fabulous shape in 3 months?

    • Alka
      September 28, 2013 - Reply

There is no magic formula. The only formula that works is hard work in right direction. Here’s what you need to do:
      1. Set goals – Know precisely what results you want to achieve and allow yourself a realistic time-frame. Prepare an exercising timetable that ensures 30 minutes schedule of workout thrice a week.
      2. Commitment is Key – None of the target would be useful unless you exercise discipline to stick to it. Keep reminding you of your objectives.
      3. Motivation – The results will not show in days. Don’t expect any magic here. You need to put in hard work, and efforts.
      4. Once you get the results you’ve wanted, reward yourself! No! Pamper yourself with anything that has nothing to do with calories. Visit a spa, a getaway with partner, new clothes to flatter your new figure!

Hard work is the key!!!! There’s no magic formula to get into fabulous shape dude….there are some rules for losing weight and toning muscle. Prior to beginning with any exercise regime or a nutrition plan, you need to consult a doctor.
You must go for a decent combination of aerobic activity and resistance training. Combine the two with a healthy diet. Also remember that it is not recommended to lose more over 1-3 lbs in a week. In case, you wish to lose weight the safest way, go for a comprehensive plan of nutrition and workout. The results will stay off for long-term.
So what does a good program looks like?
A safe and effective weight loss plan includes a warm up and cool down session, muscular strength and endurance plan wherein you focus on all muscle groups including quads and hamstrings, biceps and triceps, and maximus. Make sure the intensity is 70-80% thrice a week for about 6 weeks or more initially. You must start off with 1 exercise for each major muscle group. The same muscle group should be worked out 2 days in a row. As you continue the program, you can add more exercises and weight. You must also modify the program in order to include more days. The rest time can be added as your muscles grow stronger. It is important to rest for about 30 seconds between sets. Understand that muscle is metabolically active. Hence, it is vital to burn more calories as you build muscles. This raises metabolism. For those who don’t have time to visit a gym, consulting online websites is a good idea.
The most important part of weight loss workout regime is cardiovascular endurance. This is very important for burning fat and enhancing overall cardiovascular performance. Also make sure you include a warm-up and cool-down exercise.
To start off with a cardio plan, it is important to be in your target heart rate zone for about 30 minutes a day and slowly build up to 45-60 minutes a day. This will help burning fat and raise VO2Max. This is a number that represents the cardio respiratory system capacity. The higher the number the more efficient your cardio system is. You can learn more about VO2 at various websites.
A heart rate monitor will help you calculate pulse while you are exercising. Some of the best activities for aerobic plan include jogging, cycling, running, rowing, walking, climbing stair, hiking, elliptical machine, aerobic dance, skiing, bench step aerobics, in-line skating, skiing, rope skipping, water aerobics, and swimming. As soon as your body gets used to performing aerobically, it will begin to burn fat fast.
You must also focus on body composition when beginning a weight loss program. This comprise of the following:
      Body fat percentage
      Bone frame
      Muscles
Most people focus on only weight, but you should not put as much focus on that as much as what your body fat percentage. Get circumference measurements done for your body parts at a gym. You should get all of this info prior to starting off with a weight loss program. Thereafter, you need to plan improvements. Emphasise on flexibility as it helps in preventing injury and performing every day activities. So perform 10-12 flexibility exercises every day.
Lastly, a weight loss program is not possible without a well planned diet program. Make sure you eat right and stay away from fad diets. Gather information about calories so that you restrict amounts of carbs, protein, starch, etc. that you take daily. For instance, eating 500 calories less per day for a week will help you lose lose 1 lb. that week. Follow food guide pyramid with focus on fruits and vegetables and lean meat such as chicken or fish. Also include adequate fiber (20-30 grams) and water (8 glasses a day) in your diet. Get carbs from complex carbohydrates (rice, pasta, grains, dried beans, potatoes, cereals, and peas). Never ever skip breakfast or skip any meals. Eat every 2 hours.
Strictly stay away from saturated and trans fat. Mono and polyunsaturated fats are good. However, make sure fat makes up for 25-35% of total calories. Also don’t go for high protein diet as you just need 0.8 grams of protein for each kilogram of your body weight.
It is recommended that you find a certified personal trainer and a registered dietician in your area to help you lose weight. After losing weight, if you are interested in building muscles, increase dietary protein to 1.2-1.6 g per kg of body weight. Try getting this amount from natural sources.
To sum up, you must gain less than 2 lb a week, daily caloric intake should exceed caloric needs by only 400-500 calories a day, keep positive energy balance of 2800 to 3500 calories to gain 1 lb. of muscle tissue, eat 3 meals a day and 2 to 3 healthy snacks, avoid protein powders, and avoid protein and amino acid supplements.

Lol…I wish “magic portion” exist! But sadly good things don’t come easy. There’s no gain without pain. If you are talking about fabulous body within three months, it is nothing but cruelty towards your body structure especially if you are a ‘plus size’. You certainly need a longer time and put in extra efforts to reach your goal. Will power is the only magic formula. Miracles don’t happen when it comes to losing weight. So take action now and be consistent with your efforts. Now after all the talking I did, I must develop some will power and start off with an exercise regime! :p

Did you try dance? Dance will help losing weight. Go for a disco dance or a hip hop dance on alternate days of the week. This is enjoyable with the music. You’ll have fun shaking your body with friends around. On days that you are not dancing, brisk walking in the morning or evening will do.

Don’t make major changes in your diet. Enjoy whatever dish you’re having at present. Most importantly, chew your food properly. This will keep you from swallowing indigestible lumps. Also avoid eating when you are too hungry as it increases chances of overeating. Also try walking to work or taking the stairs to your home. You should not leave any chance of working out. This is the magical formula French people use. This is precisely the way they stay slim! Since they walk most of their life, they don’t get fat all their life regardless of what they eat. I watched it on Oprah! And I really feel this is true! So tie your shoe laces and walk your way to a fabulous body.

Also take more foods that have healthier ingredients. Drink plenty of water too while exercising. Resist the temptation to drink aerated drinks or those high in sugar and fats. Can you define fabulous shape? Personally, I don’t think you are NOT in fabulous shape. You are just out of the natural human body equilibrium. The balance is not there. This is no surprise as a normal healthy lifestyle cannot produce a body like that. And why do you even want that? Are you in awe of those skinny celebrities? So the definition of fabulous shape I believe is a being healthy and enjoying a perfect balance between body, mind and soul. So how do you really get it?
This is very simple. The one and only magic mantra here is to eat right. Here are some of the rules for eating right.
Strictly avoid excess sugar consumption. That one glass of soft drink is categorized as ‘excess sugar consumption’. Reduce rice consumption as these are refined carbohydrates that turn in to sugar.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
Add fresh veggies to your diet.
Your body needs protein. So balance it by adding meat and egg to your diet.
Sleep well, sleep early, and wake up early.
      Workout a lot.
Enjoy sports, swim, jog, and dance.
The idea is to eat right and workout. You will feel fabulous and look fabulous.

No shortcuts if you want to achieve a perfect shape and maintain it permanently. Basically, diet-wise, take more healthy foods high in protein but do not exclude carbohydrates totally (take in moderation). Protein helps in muscle building and ensures skin elasticity.
Make an effort to make exercise part of your routine. Visit the gym 3 times a week, do some cardiovascular exercises (increase metabolism) and weights (tone up) as well. Be more active! Walk more, move more, and don’t just indulge in sedentary activities (movies, buffets, computers etc).
Once in awhile, we can still reward ourselves with sinful desserts and foods but do walk around more after that e.g. window shop, strolls, etc to burn off some of the calories instead of just sitting down most of the time.
What I’m trying to say is there’s no easy way out: you must put in some effort.
Slimming and beauty centres are expensive!!! How long can we afford that? Someof the established ones may really help, but after you stop going, chances are you will go back to your original shape if you don’t put effort to change your lifestyle.

I have always been into a lot of dieting and training in an attempt to get in shape. You should have a balanced diet and exercise frequently to gain the kind of physique I have in 3 months. I visit gym to build up muscles. Once they pumped up, I toned them to achieve a nice cutting. The target was mostly on the abdomen. It is not easy getting this fabulous a body. You must design a schedule in building up your muscle and plan it properly. Target each part of body separately each day. Training regularly and having a balance diet is important to get fabulous body in three months. It is all hard work. You either do it or you don’t.

I think it will take a lot of hard work! You need to work harder than normal to achieve a great body in just 3 months. You need to do a lot of diet-watching. Also aim for getting into fabulous shape. But expect results in a longer period of time; say about 8-12 months.

There is no magic formula particularly in every dietary supplement known to man. If you seriously want to get fabulous shape you have to work for it. The best solution is by indulging in exercises and having a good balance in your daily intake of meals. Burn out your calories through your sweat. For balance diets it will help you to have a control over your diet.

I’ll tell about my magic formula. This has worked for me. Play basketball games as much as you can. When you have fun, you don’t really think about how much time you have been exercising. Yes, basketball is an exercise and great fun. Believe me; I have even played it for over 5 hours at stretch. Nothing stopped me except for cramps that hit due to hours of playing the game. The best part is basketball uses many parts of the body. All you need is just one good session to cover a gym session for a week.

To be frank, I am not sure of any “magic formula”. I don’t know whether one really exists. If fabulous shape is something because that give beefed up look for a guy, I would consider it a turn off. A Hercules cannot be my boyfriend. But do know a formula (you decide if it is magical) for losing that fabulous shape in just 3 months! :P
Stop carrying weight, don’t visit the gym, stay away from, swimming club, and don’t take hormones tablets to build muscles. As soon as you stop, all of those bulked up muscles will vanish or get transformed into fats! ;)

Nothing can replace hard work. First and foremost, you need to exploit every opportunity that you get to work out. For instance, you can use stairs instead of elevator or stairs. Also watch out what you eat. Eat a balanced diet. It is important because it helps body receive adequate amounts of nutrients and fill it with energy. Eating in excess may lead to obesity while lacking in consumption of foods will make you underweight. You must eat foods in moderation. Most importantly, you must work really hard to achieve a fabulous kick-butt trim figure. This can be done via going for regular work-outs at the gym. You may even run for 2.4 km daily. If you are lazy and don’t want to work out, go for fad diets such as Cambridge Diet, etc.
Another thing that really, really helps is high-metabolism rate. This takes time. Now that you are getting impatient and can’t wait more than 3 months, it is better to try signing up for a makeover program or any other artificial method such as cosmetic surgery. You’ll look more than fabulous.

My story may motivate you as I lost about 10 kg over a period of 6 months. I reached this goal by giving up on sugary drinks. I also abandoned fast food completely. My focus was also on walking and moving my body more. Its amazing the amount of calories one burns clearing out one’s room and wardrobe. It is all about keeping oneself busy always. Efforts come before the fruit!

First drink sufficient water (8 glasses a day) to keep your skin toned and healthy. It also ensures healthy digestion. Most children these days tend to go overboard on protein which is not necessary. Arnold Schwarzenegger has always said “Eat about one gram of protein for every two pounds of body weight.” And Schwarzenegger is a vegetarian. So do eat sufficient greens as well. Finally, you need to work out. Build those muscles by doing circuit training and pump weights. Don’t rush through the trainings.

First, indulge in a series of stretching exercises or light yoga to limber up after waking up. Then have a good breakfast and allow some time for digestion. Do aerobic exercise to raise heart rate. Also do some weight lifting. I believe in doing things in moderation. Hence, working out 5 days a week for an hour is ok with me. Doing more will give you a muscular body. Also sleep well. All in all, stretching, eating healthy, aerobics, and weight training will work for you.

Nothing will work better that hard work, discipline and strict diet. However, 3 months is short. You may somehow expect practical results. First, make sure your diet is free of oily food, fast food, late night supper, and junk food. The deal is less or no sugar, oil and salt. Eat only white meat such as chicken without the skin, fish, any product high in protein such as milk, and vitamin supplements. Steam or boil everything with minimum sugar, oil and salt.
Then follow by the sweating part. Hit the gym. Go to a gym with lots of motivation. Hire a good personal trainer who can tailor a training program and make you (rather inspire you) to follow it like a religion.
Avoid over working yourself. Stop as soon as you feel a part of body pains. Good luck for your endeavour!

I did achieve this goal about 5 years ago. I was 60 kg then and after consistent Hot Yoga sessions, I lost 5 kg and was feeling great at 55 kg! Maintaining this weight wasn’t easy as I had to go through a strict diet regime.
There’s no magic, really. It is all about hard work. But there is definitely a formula that guarantees success on weight loss, especially for ladies who want to lose stubborn fats and get into fabulous shape.
First, stay focussed and committed. The mind is the most powerful tool in helping to lose weight. You need to keep yourself motivated throughout the 3 months via visualising a slim & beautiful figure of yourself by the end of the 3 months. Wait for at least 1 -2 hours after each meal before doing Yoga or any other exercise. Also stay committed to your workout regime for next 3 months. Trust me, you will feel extremely good about yourself after losing the excess kilos. Love yourself and start doing what you’ve always dreamt of.

Training each day and eating in accordance with your diet plan will help you. You require at least 8-10 hours of sleep daily to allow your body to create those muscles and shape. To get into fabulous shape, you should eat the right amount of food and hydrate body with enough water, train as hard as possible. And of course, sleep tight. Avoid over straining your muscles.

Yes, the formula is information, willpower and obedience. Since each person’s idea of being in “fabulous shape” is different, one plan cannot work for all. You must determine that you will pay the cost to ensure these changes. You should have the time to exercise, indulge in proper food, leave your comfort zone, and do strenuous exercises. Research to plan the course of actions needed to achieve your desired goals and exercise self discipline to follow through on your exercise regime to achieve your goals.
You should make the decision to change, identify your reasons to change and write them down. Now focus on your future vision and start dreaming of what you would like to achieve within 12 weeks. Give your dreams a deadline and give course of actions for the same. Now read what you have recorded daily in the morning and again at night every day. All the best!

What is your idea of ideal body shape? Have you been talking about something Mr. Singapore has been sporting recently? Well, there’s not scientifically proven way to get into “fabulous shape” except for hard work. And if anyone knows about such a formula, please tell me, I want to know desperately.
No miracle or magic happens when it comes to weight loss. The miracle happens only if you get in touch with a cosmetic surgeon and ask him to make you look like Mr. Singapore. This may help you get near-magically transformed into a dreamy hunk. The first month will take into transformation and the other two in the hospital where you try to recover from the procedure. And thus by the end of 3 months, you are in fabulous shape. It’s more than magic!

I have a magic formula: ‘Burn lots of body fat and increase muscular mass through gym training, cardiovascular exercises, and a well planned healthy diet.
When it comes to ‘Fabulous body shape’, different people have different perspective. How do you define fabulous shape really? Some feel athlete’s body (lean and well defined) is fabulous while others want Arnold Swarzenegger’s body. You must know what you have been looking for and plan goals accordingly. I had the strong desire to bulk up so that no one would dare to bully me in future. So I started reading magazines and interviews by famous wrestlers and body builders.
I invested in two bags of protein powder and embarked on my little journey of muscle building. Consistent hard work of one month transformed me from a mere 52 kg to 59 kg. I was delighted at results. But down the years, I gained a lot and transformed into FAT! Then I decided to work harder and get my body shape back.
Here’s how to go about it!
Measure your height, weight and body fat level. Chart down the measurements into a notebook. Get measurements for chest, waist, hip, arm and inner thigh and chart them down. Also note down weight loss target by the end of the three month programme. Keep recording measurements every week. Now categorize your weight loss plan into two parts: Nutrition and Exercise Regime. The combination of two will give you perfect body shape.
Watch out your diet and consume more protein-based foods. Break down your usual diet into five small meals that consists of meal replacements and natural protein like poultry, fish or meat. Protein is a crucial building block that helps us build muscles and hence reduce body fat level. Get meal replacements or protein shakes from health stores.
For those wishing for dramatic muscle and mass gains, a simple rule of thumb is to incorporate 1 gram of protein for each pound of your present body weight each day. This will provide you with requisite protein for rapid muscle growth. Usually, weight loss progress is thwarted due to decreased metabolism. Hence, you need to enhance rate of metabolism prior to cutting calories. This way, you can avoid low calorie or high protein diets.
      High protein diet options:
Egg 1 medium size – 6 grams of protein
      Tofu 100 g – 8 grams of protein
Milk 1 glass – 6.3 grams of protein
Roasted Chicken 100g – 25 grams of protein
Soya milk 200 ml – 6 grams of protein
Cheddar cheese 100g – 25 grams of protein
Low fat yogurt 150g – 8 grams of protein
Fish fillets 100g – 21 grams of protein
Once you have prepared a diet plan, it is time to prepare a workout plan. You need to visit a gym at least five times a week for an hour. Include 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise and 40 minutes of gym work.
All in all, your determination, patience, dedication, consistency and will power will get you into desired shape. It takes plenty of self-motivation and endurance to make the above stated ‘magic formula’ to work.

I have a magical formula for body building success. I believe that it is the determination that you have to achieve success that works. Apart from determination, you need to include a training program, a nutritional program designed for either lean muscle gains or fat loss, and recovery procedure. You must apply this formula religiously. Determination is the key. Regardless of what happens, you must stay focussed on achieving your goal and workout. Weight training is also crucial. The workout program should be designed by an expert. The example for a workout program includes the following:
3 sets of squats with 10 repetitions
3 sets of stiff deadlifts with 10 repetitions
3 sets of bench press with 10 repetitions
3 sets of bent over rows with 10 repetitions
3 sets of military press with 10 repetitions
3 sets of closs grip bench with 10 repetitions
3 sets of barbell curl with 10 repetitions
3 sets of standing calf with 10 repetitions
Training is categorized into two types; Anaerobic work (i.e. weight training) to re-sculpt your body and Aerobic work (i.e. walking) in your fat burning zone.
Remember that nutrition and training go hand in hand. Making the correct food choice is the key to get the best body. Lastly, rest and recovery should be your ultimate motive. You need 7 – 9 hours of sleep each night in order for your body to run efficiently.
Have you been considering supplements? To make your program effective, you need some supplements. Well, this is because most of the foods these days are so processed that it is impossible to get all the vitamin and minerals that your body requires in order to run at maximum efficiency. All in all, you can get the body of your dream in three months if you follow the above stated rules.
