Get rid of Crow’s Feet with Facial Yoga

Ageing does not have a very friendly effect on our body, especially on face. It covers the face with wrinkles. The unsightly crow’s-feet are the most noticeable signs of ageing. These are the wrinkles that appear on each end of the eyes. This is also known to be one of the most common areas for plastic surgery. However, if you are not interested in undergoing plastic surgery, you can also use facial exercises in order to reduce crow’s-feet.

Face yoga can help you get significant benefits. There are some specific exercises that help in removing crow’s feet and create a youthful face that glows from within. Here are some of the most effective facial yoga exercises to remove crow’s feet:

Face Yoga to Remove Crow’s Feet 1

You need to open and close your eyes quickly while pressing on the temples of your head with two fingers. This is an effective exercise. Repeat five times. Relax. Now keeping your eyes closed, look up and then down. Repeat the pose for about ten times.

Move your eyes up and down for about ten times. Now look left to right for ten times. This is an amazing exercise and works on the ring muscles of the eyes. It helps in preventing sagging skin and crow’s feet.

Keeping your eyes closed, lift your eyebrows up. Make sure you lift the eyebrows as far as possible while stretching eyelids down. You must do this without any help of your hands. It is important to hold each stretch for about 5 seconds. Repeat this exercise for about 5 times.

This is a fantastic exercise to combat crow’s feet. Using index and middle fingers press the edges of the eyes. Now try to elevate the lower lid. You need to repeat this exercise about a dozen times. This will help you reduce crow’s feet significantly.

Keep eyes closed and lift your eyebrows up while stretching your eyelids down. Hold each stretch for about 5 seconds. Now repeat 5 times.

Face Yoga to Remove Crow’s Feet 6

Open your eyes. Now lift your eyebrows and close your top eyelids only halfway. Open eyelids as wide as possible. You need to do this the whites of the eyes show over the iris.

    Crow feet are a big problem with lot of people. These exercises are very useful particularly if you do them regularly. Though crow feet can not be done away totally but then following these yoga exercises definitely makes a difference.

      Put two clean teaspoons in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes. Once cool, take the teaspoons out. Now lie down on your back and put the spoons on your dark circles. The technique works towards refreshing the area under your eyes and the eyes themselves.

      Regular massage is good for your eyes. Use your ring finger (it will put very light pressure on the sensitive under eye area) and start at the corner of the eye. Now push down with very gentle pressure a few times. Using your middle finger, move the fingers from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner, travelling along the dark circle under your eye. Make sure you use very light pressure on the dark circle especially while using your middle finger.

      Cold water and cold milk is extremely helpful in reducing dark circles and puffiness under eye. It constricts blood vessels under the eyes. This in turn, reduces puffiness and dark circles. Take a soft washcloth soaked in cold water or cold milk and put it directly on your eye lids for about 15-20 minutes.

      Tomatoes contain a powerful antioxidant referred to as lycopene. It is also rich in certain properties that can lighten skin colour to a great extent. So you need to take a teaspoonful of tomato juice and mix it with one teaspoon of lemon juice. Now apply this mixture on the dark circles gently. Allow it to sit for ten minutes. Rinse it off gently with water. The remedy should be followed twice a day to get desired results.

      Potato is a natural bleaching agent. It will help in lightening dark circles. This is also a great remedy for puffiness around the eyes. You must grate a chilled potato and grate it to extract its juice. Soak a cotton ball in the potato juice. Now place it on to your eye lids. The cotton should also cover your under eye area. Allow the juice to sit for around 15-20 minutes. Rinse your eyelids well with cool water and apply a cream. You may even use a potato juice you can also use thick potato slice to remove dark circles.
